Dangerous Chemicals
There is a myth that usage of aggressive (toxic) chemicals is crucial for really clean carpets. Just because we don't use toxic chemicals doesn't mean that we compromise the quality of the clean. Using "green eco-friendly products" doesn't mean that they are weaker or less affective than their toxic counterparts.

Our carpet cleaning process substitutes additional agitation, dwell-time, and better rinsing and drying to offset the use of overly-aggressive dangerous chemicals. A skilled technician will know how much or how little of these 5 steps to apply to all the different cleaning needs throughout your home. For example, traffic areas may require more agitation and dwell time than the area that was covered by an area rug.
Service Depot uses a carpet cleaning process recommended by major carpet manufacturers like Shaw and Mohawk the largest carpet mills in the world. Shaw's (www.shawfloors.com) warranties require that the homeowner be able to show proof of periodic cleaning by hot water extraction (commonly called "steam" cleaning) by a professional cleaner.
