Toxic Chemical Free
Want your carpet to look new? Cleaning that ugly, dingy-looking carpet doesn't require the use of dangerous chemicals. Dirt, grease, oil, tar, pet dander and urine, dust mites, and most stains can be safely flushed, extracted and removed from your home, giving you that great feeling you had when your carpet was new.
There is a myth that the use of aggressive (toxic) chemicals is crucial for really clean carpets. Just because we don't use toxic chemicals doesn't mean that we compromise the quality of the clean. Using "green" and "eco-friendly products" doesn't mean that they are weaker or less effective than their toxic counterparts.

There are five (5) components to a thorough deep carpet clean.
1. Use hot water. Our truck mounted equipment heats water beyond boiling. 2. Products to dissolve and suspend soil, grease, asphalt, stains, etc. 3. Allow products to work. Carpet cleaners call this dwell time. 4. Agitate carpet fibers with a carpet groomer or scrubber. 5. Thoroughly rinse with clean water, extract with a powerful vacuum allowing it to completely dry. |

Our carpet cleaning process substitutes additional agitation, dwell-time, and better rinsing and drying to offset the use of overly-aggressive and potentially dangerous chemicals. A skilled technician will know how much or how little of these 5 steps to apply to all the different cleaning needs throughout your home. For example, traffic areas may require more agitation and dwell time than the area that was covered by an area rug.
Service Depot uses a carpet cleaning process recommended by major carpet manufacturers like Shaw and Mohawk, the largest carpet mills in the world. Shaw's (http://www.shawfloors.com/) warranties require that the homeowner be able to show proof of periodic cleaning by hot water extraction (commonly called "steam" cleaning) by a professional cleaner.
