With over 30 years experience, Fred Terlaak has broad industry experience as an executive with domestic and international organizations and as an owner/operator of several successful businesses. Mr. Terlaak serves on numerous board of directors and advisory boards.
After graduating in 1976 from Cal State Northridge (BS, finance), Mr. Terlaak joined Litton Industries in Beverly Hills as a financial analyst. He transferred to Litton's geophysical division in Houston where he held several accounting positions. Between 1980 and 1984 he was promoted to Area Manager of Finance and Administration based in Singapore.
In 1984, Mr. Terlaak left Litton to found Austin based, FullTech Services, which handled warehousing, delivery and other logistics services across the US. In 1989 FullTech merged with an architectural/design company that reaching over $17 million in sales, with over 200 employees and operations in Houston and Austin.
Upon the successful sale of the company in 1992, Mr. Terlaak co-founded Team Logistics Incorporated; an Austin based logistics provider. The company was sold in mid-1997 to McLane Company, a division of Wal-Mart. Between 1997 and 2003 Mr. Terlaak consulted with numerous small businesses throughout the U.S., specializing in financial turnarounds before co-founding Service Depot.
